Dark in color, Morcela de Arroz is a cooked sausage horseshoe-shaped with the ends joined by a wire cotton. Granular mass with white marbling due to the added rice it consists of meat, fat and pig's blood, filled in natural bovine casing. Grilled or heated in water, it is a product that can accompany some fabulous boiled turnip greens, be consumed raw, sliced or grilled for a delicious snack drizzled with a good red wine.
